In this drawing I focused on making a bunch of lines on the dock that look like they were placed there on accident. I think I did very well on my line quality. The many lines on the dock make it look like actual wood that has been used and lived on and around. I tried to create emphasis on the hut in the background which can't be seen well in the photo but it is pretty white on the paper. I like the shape of my islands in the background. They look like islands and not just little blobs. I think it is very balanced. I also like the movement in the piece, it makes you look straight at the hit and then the sky around it.
